Conference on the Future of the Textile Industry: "Organisations in 2020"
On 30 June and 1 July 2011 representatives from industry, science and politics gathered to discuss and analyse future trends in the textile and clothing industry. Strategic developments in the area of Technical Textiles were as much part of the agenda as global strategies and models for innovation. Human capital is key to success — motivated young people as well as experienced members of staff. The programme addressed the demographic challenge while investigating potential future strategic solutions.Competent speakers from different backgrounds presented and discussed innovative approaches that went beyond established models. The exhibition showcased all stakeholders of the industry, creating a unique and innovative market place for companies, research as well as for other important players in the textile and clothing industry.
